Wisdom Or Stupidity Essay Research Paper WISDOM

Wisdom Or Stupidity Essay, Research Paper WISDOM or STUPIDITY ?Did you never observe the narrow intelligence flashing from the keen eye of a clever rogue?how eager he is, how clearly his paltry soul sees the way the to his end; he is the reverse of blind, but his keen eyesight is forced into the service of evil, and he is mischievous in proportion to his cleverness?? (282) I selected this statement from the essay because it can be looked at from many different points of view. My first thoughts of this as I read it were of a Christian that let his mind wonder in too many places which caused him to question his beliefs. It is perfect for those of us who believe in God but still do not understand how he got here. It is great that he created the world in seven days. Its even better that he has the power to perform superhuman feats like cause the blind to see and determine our fate before the time gets here, but what they forgot to tell us or what they purposely did not tell us makes us question the whole story. It is said in the Bible that those who do not believe go to hell, but how can someone fully understand with only bits and pieces of the complete story. That seems like a bit of a disadvantage for people who think philosophically. And what about the scientist who came up with the Evolution theory? Are they going to hell because their job is to scientifically find a way that humans came to be? My next thoughts were about the mentally deranged people who commit sins but have no clue of what they are doing. Will they go to hell because God chose for them to be challenged all of their lives? Or will God accept them for who they are and go against the Bible? This leads to another question of God?s real morals. If he were such a great person why would he let a fellow human live with so many disabilities? And why would God let people die such horrible deaths? When these questions are asked to people of high religious authority they tell us to have faith and to believe yet they have no real answers themselves. Are they speaking of wisdom or are they speaking of stupidity from believing something that is socially acceptable?
