El dia de los muertos es el 1 y 2 de noviembre. Some Mexican people consider the death a passage to a new life. At the 1st and 2nd of November each year the ?Day Of The Death?-celebration starts. It is celebrated to remember loved ones. A lot of traditions are used by the celebrating people, like giving offerings, wearing traditional dresses, creating all types of habdicrafts, adorning arches for the tombs in the cemetery and much more. Three years following the passing away of a person, every November 1st, the godparents of the deceased decorate the arch in honor of their godchild. In the morning of November 1st, the ceremony is in honor of deceased children. Tombs are decorated by women and children. Every family brings the arches to the cemetery to honor their departed. Early in the morning, around 9 a.m., the ritual in honor of the dead children ends and later the celebration of the dead adults begins. It begins with the dance of the old men.
